Series Samson and Jesus

This series of 5 conversations revisits the story of the world’s strongest man. The intent is to find personal insights as we explore together what the life of Samson contributes to the bigger story of Jesus. As a champion of Israel, Samson is a head-turner. His birth was predicted by an angel in a way that created a Messianic-like anticipation. Yet the expectation was not fulfilled. As a young adult he became a supernaturally empowered womanizer, a vindictively violent man— who ends up being honored by the New Testament as a man of faith. How could this be? And why?
