Series The Good Samaritan

One of Jesus’ most beloved parables, this story was not just spoken in a vacuum. It was Christ’s response to a question (“Who is my neighbor?”) that, in first century Israel, reeked of racism and bias. In response to those racial attitudes, Jesus’ story makes a hated Samaritan the hero, no doubt to the shock of the listening crowd.
