Series 21st Century Outreach

The contrast between Paul’s approach to ministry among people of the Book (in Berea) and people with no reference point for the things of God provides an important context for how we approach reaching people in our own post-modern, post-Christian culture. As we learn from his example, our own efforts at outreach can be greatly strengthened among people more like those at Mars Hill than those of Berea.

What we can learn from Paul about evangelism

Part 4 - 08/27/15

Blessing our enemies by finding common ground

When the nation of Israel was exiled to Babylon, Jeremiah gave the Jewish leaders unexpected direction. He said, “Seek the peace of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its peace you will have peace.” Listen in as we continue our series on Acts 17.

Part 5 - 08/28/15

A thought-provoking conversation on evangelism

This week we’ve been talking about how to share the gospel in a pluralistic culture. It’s the same challenge that the apostle Paul faced in his day.
