One of the most consistently misrepresented characters in the gospels, Mary Magdalene was one of the most faithful followers of Jesus during His earthly ministry. Having been rescued by the Savior, she not only supported the work of ministry, she stood by the cross. Mary Magdalene’s faithfulness was rewarded when she became the first to see the risen Christ.
