“Family first.” “The most important thing in the world is family.” “You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.” There are lots of quotations that lift up the value of family. But there’s one quote from a very influential person that doesn’t usually make onto prints that people hang on their walls. It’s a quote from Jesus, when He said “Unless you hate your family, you cannot be my disciple.” Really? Yeah, it’s right there in Luke 14:26. You can look it up.
