Series God’s Encouragement in Desperate Times

“As the deer…” are the familiar words at the start of a popular worship song. These words find their root in Psalm 42, a song of desperation that comes from a person who needs help and rest. This rest comes from remembering times of worship and reflecting on the trustworthiness of God—even when times are desperate.
