When we’re in trouble, we often go in search of a sympathetic ear. And gratefully, according to the New Testament book of Hebrews, we have a High Priest who is sympathetic to our human sufferings! He knows everything and He understands exactly how you’re feeling. In this conversation, you’ll find out how the simple invitation “Let us . . . pray” can change your life.
Some Christians get saved . . . and then get stuck. They don’t seem to mature in their faith. And this is not a new problem. In this part of our study of the “Let Us” invitations in the book of Hebrews, you’ll consider how we all should respond to the invitation that says: “Let us press on to maturity.”
Much of the New Testament letter to the Hebrews is devoted to our personal relationship with God. But in the middle of chapter ten, we find advice on how to deal with others—other believers. In this part of our study called “Let Us,” the group looks at the important invitation to “let us spur one another on to love and good deeds.”
When you’re running a race, there are times when you need to dig deep in order to keep going if you’re going to get to the finish line. And our faith requires that sometimes, too. In this conversation, you’ll discover another “Let Us” invitation in the book of Hebrews, one to “let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
