Chapter 1
When we read Jesus’ “commands” in the Gospels, do they seem easy to follow? If we’re honest, some of Jesus’ commands can seem quite impossible. Join the Discover the Word group for part one of the series called “Seemingly Impossible Commands.” Elisa Morgan is leading Daniel Ryan Day, Rasool Berry, and Vivian Mabuni to explore how the impossible just may be . . . possible. Chapter 2
What are you most afraid of right now? What if someone told you simply “don’t be afraid,” do you think it would work? Is it that simple? At first glance, many of Jesus’ commands in the Gospels seem impossible to follow. But as we better understand God’s intentions behind them then we discover that they actually help us become more like Jesus. We find that Jesus’ commands are invitations to let Him make us complete.
