Yet this Promise of heaven’s favor shows up in a most unlikely place. In the life-threatening wilderness of Sinai— following a remarkable rescue from Egyptian slave yards— and a series of unremarkable human mistakes, God promises to bless his people—with the mere mention of his Name.
