Oh, how lonely we are in this world! At some point in our lives, and often throughout our lives, we struggle with feeling set apart, isolated, rejected, and unwanted—which is loneliness. What can we do about it? Scripture tells the tale of why loneliness first appeared on our planet and in our lives and how we can find help and become unlonely.
Chapter 1
Loneliness has become something of an epidemic, especially with the recent lockdowns and quarantines. But gratefully, loneliness can be cured! In this chapter, you’ll search for the cause and the cure for loneliness, starting in the Garden of Eden.
Chapter 2
At some point in our lives, we all struggle with feelings of rejection and isolation. But thankfully, God offers a solution for the pain! In this chapter, you’ll look at Jesus’ encounter with Nicodemus and see what their interaction can teach us about God’s cure for loneliness.
Chapter 3
When Jesus was preparing to wrap up His earthly ministry, He warned His disciples that He would soon be leaving. But He wouldn’t be leaving them alone! In this chapter, you’ll discover the “Helper” that Jesus sent and learn what He does for us on a daily basis.
Chapter 4
Loneliness and helplessness often go hand in hand. We feel alone because there’s no one to help us in our time of need. In this chapter, you’ll discover that one of the most effective cures for loneliness is to go out and be the helper that someone needs.

Loneliness is a widespread problem, but it’s certainly not a new one. In fact, loneliness afflicted many of the Bible’s greatest heroes. In this chapter, you’ll look at several major figures in Scripture who struggled with—and ultimately overcame—loneliness.
