What comes to your mind when you hear the word “worship”? Worship is a word we throw around a lot, but it’s actually a pretty abstract idea. It’s difficult to get our minds around what it is. That’s probably why we tend to use the word to simply define a style of music—that’s easier than engaging with the mystery that is worship. But the word “worship” shows up in nearly every book of the Bible—200 times from Genesis to Revelation. So, join us this week, as we ask the question, “How would Jesus define worship?”

What comes to your mind when you think of worship? Is it just the time we sing songs in church on Sundays? Or is there more to it? In this chapter, you’ll begin to explore passages in Scripture that will help you answer the question, “What Is Worship?”

All of us idolize someone or something, whether we realize it or not. So, the question is, who or what are you worshipping? In this chapter, you’ll be challenged to identify who you worship and consider how your worship ties into your identity.

From the highest mountains to the lowest valleys, the beauty of nature is awe-inspiring. And it all points to the One who made it! In this chapter, the group will encourage you to be inspired by God anew—because He alone is worthy of your worship!

Every week we go to church and sing songs of praise. But how do we know if our worship is authentic or if we’re just going through the motions? In this chapter, you’ll be encouraged to rediscover the God who loves you and let His love inspire you to genuine worship.

Some people view worship as a sing-along in church or a series of religious rituals. But neither of these pictures represents what worship really is. In this chapter, you’ll be challenged to look past your preconceived notions and discover true worship as revealed in Scripture.
