This week’s conversation with Jeff Manion highlights how meaningful moments often grow from steady, ordinary faithfulness. It emphasizes focusing on the specific tasks God places before us each day rather than trying to do everything at once. The reminder to take intentional rest shows that stepping away is not wasted time, but an opportunity for God to restore strength and perspective. Applying these insights means embracing small, consistent rhythms and allowing space for God to work in everyday life.

Jesus, show me the ordinary practices I can do well now that will lead to extraordinary things in the future. Help me invest in the people around me by doing what I can to meet their needs. Give me peace that You are not calling me to do everything rather help me see what You are calling me to do in this moment. Prompt me to take regular rests from work so that You can restore and fill me. Amen.
