We can tend to believe that faith and doubt are mutually exclusive. If we have faith, we won’t doubt. If we doubt, we can’t have faith. Yes, if we sink down under them, doubts can erode our faith. But what if faith and doubt can exist together, one fueling the other in such a way that in the end our trust in God is strengthened?
